Radha Ji and Krishna Images and Famous Short Stories
Famous Verse Geeta
Here I would like to share this verse with this Radha Krishna Images, which is one of the major verses of the Hindu scripture Geeta. This verse comes from chapter 4 verse 7 and 8 of the Gita. This shloka was described by Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata when Arjuna refused to fight in Kurukshetra.
I appear, I come, when there is loss of religion, then I come, when iniquity increases then I come, I come to protect the gentlemen, to destroy the wicked I come in to establish religion and I am born in an era.
Shree Krishna and Lord Indra
Every year the people of Vrindavan pray for good rain for their crops to Lord Indra. One year, Lord Krishna tells the villagers about the importance of ‘Dharma’. He explains how they need to work hard and concentrate honestly in their duties. Everyone becomes convinced and decides not to offer prayers to Lord Indra.
This affects Lord Indra, who sends a big storm to the village. Rainwater fills in Vrindavan and people start searching for a safe place. To save people Krishna lifted the Govardhan hill on his little finger and the people and their cattle take shelter under the hill for seven days.
Later Lord Indra realizes his mistake and he stops the rain and apologizes to Lord Krishna.

Fond of Butter
Krishna was fond of butter as a child and used to steal it from home and neighbors as well. His stories of stealing butter were famous in Vrindavan. His mother, Yashoda, used to hang a pot of butter on the roof so that Krishna could not reach it.
One day, when Yashoda goes out on an important task, Krishna gathers his friends to steal butter. Initially, his friends refuse to help but later agreed due to the pressure of his friend. Krishna seeks the help of all his friends, standing on his shoulders to reach the pitcher.
As they reach the pitcher, Yashoda comes in and sees their mischief. Krishna’s friends run away quickly but he was caught by his mother. Yashoda gets furious and runs to punish Krishna.
One day, Krishna and his brother Balarama went to a garden to collect fruits and berries. Since Krishna was still a child, he could not reach the fruits. In his attempts to get fruit, he repeatedly fell on the ground and filled his mouth with dust and sand. When other children see Krishna doing this, they go and complain to his mother.
Yashoda comes running to Krishna and asks sternly whether he has eaten the soil. Krishna refuses to eat sand and refuses to open his mouth. But when Yashoda insisted, he opened his mouth, making Yashoda shocked.
Krishna gives a sly grin as Yashoda sees no mud but the entire universe including the sun, stars, sky, oceans, mountains, rivers, and mountains. From that day she gets that her son is not an ordinary child.
A giant black serpent, Kalia enters Vrindavan and lives in the Yamuna River with his family. Kalia gradually mixes its poison to the river water, making the lives of the villagers miserable. People do everything possible to get rid of the black serpent.
Lord Krishna could not see his people suffering and decided to fight Kalia. Krishna gathers the weight of the entire planet, jumps on Kalia’s head and dances on it and starts killing Nag.
Kalia starts vomiting blood and loses all strength. When Kalia is near death, her wives appear and pray to Krishna, asking for mercy. Krishna took pity on the snake; Kalia realizes the greatness and strength of Lord Krishna and promises to leave the river.
The snake leaves the river and Vrindavan forever and people celebrate the victory of Krishna.
Once, Krishna and his friends went for a picnic in the nearby forest. While they were enjoying, Agasura, the brother of the demoness Pootana, appeared on the spot. He was sent by Kansa to kill Krishna. The demon took the form of a dragon and made himself as tall as a cave and as big as a mountain. Then, he lay in wait.
Seeing the beauty of the cave, shepherd boys enter it. Krishna knew that it was Aghasura and tried to warn his friends, but they were not in the mood to listen. Once entering Krishna’s mouth, the demon planned to close his mouth. To save his friends, Krishna entered the cave and expanded himself. Due to this the demon suffocated and died.
